摘要:這是黎東方寫給William C. Rust的信函。黎東方指出他剛收到最新版本的期刊「美哉中華」，其中第26與27頁是由William C. Rust所提供有關美國國際大學的文獻翻譯，並附上照片，本期刊由中國文化學院新聞學系的工作人員與學生負責管理。
另外，黎東方據悉，中國戲曲學系與舞蹈系計劃在William C. Rust抵達台北時舉行幾場演出。最後，信中附上「美哉中華」有關頁面的副本。

My dear Dr. Rust,
I just received a copy of the most recent number of the periodical "Beautiful China", in which a full translation of the literature you gave me concerning the United States International University appears on page 26 and 27, complete with a reproduction of your photograph.

This periodical is run by the staff and the students of the Journalism department of the College of Chinese Culture.

I am informed that the Chinese Opera department and the department of Dancing had been planning to perform a few shows right after your projected arrival at Taipei, with you as the honor guest in the front row of the audience.

　Please do favor me with a letter, so that I can keep Dr.Chang Chi-yun and my colleagues posted about your present and future plans for expansion.
