Attached is a photostat copy of the letter of Acting President Lin Yun-Shan, of the Tamkang College of Arts and Sciences dated September 3, 1975.

I am very grateful to you and to the officials of the College of Chinese Culture for accepting the arrangements made in my behalf by President Lin and Secretary Douglas Yang to confer on my humble self an honorary academic degree for my achievement in education. I do humbly accept the honors which the College of Chinese Culture will be bestowing on me on November 11, 1975.

In order to facilitate the issuance of my passport and visa and for these who will compass my entourage to Taipei, may I please request you to send me a formal letter of invitation for the conferment of the honorary academic degree.
